Turn off and lock out all power supplying this device before working on this device.
Note the following information when mounting contactors:
● If foreign bodies (such as drillings) can reach the devices, the contactors must be covered
during mounting.
● If there is a risk of pollution, heavy dust deposits, or an aggressive atmosphere at the
mounting location, the contactors must be installed in an enclosure.
● Dust deposits must be vacuumed away.
The following mounting types are available for the contactors:
● Snapping onto a 35 mm DIN rail according to IEC 60715. (Sizes S00 ... S3 only)
● Screwing onto a mounting plate
Up to an ambient temperature of 60 °C, derating is not necessary for all contactors even in
the case of side-by-side mounting. In the case of contactors with extended operating range
(0.7 to 1.25 x U
s
) that operate via a series resistor, side-by-side mounting is permissible up
to an ambient temperature of +70 °C.
