6.3.1
Operating mechanism system / coil selection 3RT2 contactors and 3RH2
contactor relays
The 3RT2 power contactors and 3RH2 contactor relays can be supplied with operating
mechanisms for all standard AC and DC coil voltages. In addition, 3RT2 power contactors in
sizes S0 and S2 are also available with electronic coil control (AC / DC operation) featuring
an extended operating range (helping to reduce variance) and lower closing and holding
powers that enable lower power consumption in the control cabinet. The solenoid coil for
AC / DC operation can be operated with either AC or DC voltage. This is facilitated by control
electronics with an upstream DC operating mechanism.
