Reading
1) Press on the grip lever of the fixed clamp (A) and fit the centring
device E16 so that it protrudes towards the mobile clamp (B) (fig.
82). Release the grip lever.
2) Press on the grip lever on the mobile clamp (B) and fit the key so
that the hole in the stem is up against the centring device E16 (fig.
83). Release the grip lever.
3) Hold the key head with one hand and the end of the centring
device with the other and push the key up against the stop 0 (A).
4) The ideal position for the mobile clamp (B) is when there is a
distance of 3 mm min. and 15 mm max. between the bit and inner
side of the mobile clamp (B).
Clamp: S100 A-B
= indicates the clamp
(S100)
into which the key
must be fitted, and which jaw to use.
Stop 0
= reference or point for positioning the key on the reading
clamp.
Adapt: E16
= adapter for positioning the key (female) from the tip
(only for reading).
ATTENTION: make sure that the bit is up against the Stop 0 (A).
