1OpentheSetupmenu.
2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogbox
opens.Thisdialogboxcontainsanumberof
pagesselectedfromthemenuontheleftside.
3OntheleftsideoftheInstallationdialogbox,selectSystemProtectiontoopenthe
page.
4Denetherelevantparameters.
•TxInhibitHullUnitPosition:Withthetransducerfullyretracted,notransmissions
("pings")takeplace.Whenyoulowerthetransducerintothewater,youcan
specifyaverticalpositionforwhenthetransmissionsstart.Whenthetransducer
isretracted,transmissionswillstopwhenthetransducerreachesthesame
position.
•TxInhibitPower:Thehighvoltagesuppliedtothetransceiverboardsis
monitored.Ifthisvoltagediffersfromthedenedtolerances,analarmmessage
willbeinitiated.Youarenotpermittedtochangethelimitvalues.
•TxInhibitFirmware:Thermwareonthetransceiverboardsischeckedtoverify
compatibilitywiththeSU90operationalsoftware.Thealarmisprovidedto
makesurethatthefunctionalityofferedbytheSU90canbesupportedbythe
transceiverboards.Amismatchwilltriggera"rmwarenotaccepted"alarm.
•TxInhibitOperationMode:Thisfeatureactivatesthesystemprotectiontomake
surethattheSU90doesnottransmit("ping")whenyouhavechosenReplay
orInactivemode.
•VesselSpeed:Whenthetransducerisfullylowered,thespeedofthevesselmust
notexceedthemaximumspeedpermittedbythehullunit.Thismaximumspeed
dependsonthesizeofthetransducer,themechanicalconstructionofthehull
unit,andhowfardownthetransducerhasbeenlowered.TheSystemProtection
pageallowsyoutodenean"UpperWarningLimit"thatinitiatesthealarm.
