Loweringandhoistingthetransducerusingthehandcrank
TheOperatingPanelcontrolstheloweringandhoistingofthetransducer.Incaseofa
powerfailurethetransducercanbehoistedorloweredmanuallybymeansofahand
crank.
Prerequisites
Youneedasuitablescrewdriver
oralargecointoopenthe
MotorControlUnitcabinet.
Youalsoneeda4mmAllen
key.
Context
Onlargerhullunits,thehoist
motorisprovidedwithamotor
brake.Themotorbrakemustbe
releasedbeforethetransducer
ismanuallyloweredorhoisted.
Important
Whennotinuse,thehand
crankmustalwaysbeplaced
insidetheMotorControlUnit.
Whenremovedfromitsstorage
positionthehandcrankreleases
asafetyswitchwhichdisables
hullunitoperation..
Procedure
1Makesurethatyouhavesufcientwaterdepthbelowthekeelbeforeyoulower
thetransducer.
Ifyourvesselisindrydock,makesurethatyouhavesufcientheightbetween
thehullandthedrydockoor.Thespaceunderthehullmustbefreefromtools,
scaffolding,personnelandotherobstacles.
2Removethemainsfusesforthehullunit.
3Openthecabinetdoor.
4LocatetheMotorProtectingSwitch(S301).
5DeactivatetheMotorProtectingSwitch(S301)bypressingtheoperatinghandle
toOFF.
6Loweringthetransducer
aLocatethehandcrankinsidetheMotorControlUnit.
