Unlessyousynchronizethetransmissionsfromyourotherhydroacousticsystemsyou
mayhaveanissuewithinterference.Evenwithsynchronizationactivatedthenoise
fromothernearbyvesselsmaycausenoise.
Context
TheNoiseFilterisusedtominimizetheinterferencefromotheracousticssystems(sonars
andechosounders)onyourownand/orothervessels.Thelteralsosuppressesnoise
fromyourpropellers,andfromothersimilarnoisesources.TheNoiseFilterisvery
effectiveifyouarebotheredbystrongnoiseorinterference,especiallyfromyourown
vessel,orevenfromothervesselsoperatingnearyou.
