TheOperatingPanelcontrolstheloweringandhoistingofthetransducer.Dedicated
buttonsareprovidedforthephysicaltransducerlocations.Youcanalsodothisfromthe
MotorControlUnit.Localcontrolisusefulformaintenancepurposes.
Prerequisites
Youneedasuitablescrewdriver
oralargecointoopenthe
MotorControlUnitcabinet.
3-phasevoltageforthehoisting
motorand+24VDCfrom
theinternalpowersupplyare
available.BothindicatorLEDs
insidetheMotorControlUnit
arelit.
Context
UseHoist/LowerSwitch(S302)
intheupperpartofthe
cabinettocontrolloweringand
hoisting.Fornormaloperation
fromtheOperatingPanel,the
switchmustbesettoREMOTE.
Procedure
1Makesurethatyouhave
sufcientwaterdepth
belowthekeelbeforeyoulowerthetransducer.
Ifyourvesselisindrydock,makesurethatyouhavesufcientheightbetween
thehullandthedrydockoor.Thespaceunderthehullmustbefreefromtools,
scaffolding,personnelandotherobstacles.
2Openthecabinetdoor.
WARNING
Highvoltagesareused.Thisequipmentmustbeservicedonlybyqualied
personnelfamiliarwithhigh-voltageequipmentandthepotentialhazards
involved.Failuretoobservethisprecautioncouldresultinbodilyinjury.
