AusefulfunctionoftheSU90isitabilitytorecordechodata.Y oucansavethedata
totheProcessorUnitharddisk,orontoanexternalstoragedevice.Toretrievethedata
lesyouneedtoknowwheretheyare,andwhichlenamesthathavebeenused.The
datalescanbeplayedbackontheSU90.Thedatalescanlaterbedeleted,copiedor
movedtoanotherstoragedevice.Youcankeeptherecordedlesforfuturereference,
orfortrainingpurposes.
Context
Beforeyoustartrecording,makesurethatyouhavedenedwhereyouwishtostorethe
datales.Werecommendthatyousetupallthenecessaryrecordingparametersbefore
youstartdatarecording.Ifyouwishtosaveyourrecordeddataonanexternalharddisk,
makesurethatitisconnectedtotheProcessorUnit.
Tip
Unlessyoureallyneedtorecorddataforplaybackand/ortrainingpurposes,youshould
usethisfunctionwithcare.Thedataleswillllyouharddiskveryfast!
FileSetupcontrolshowandwheretherecordedlesaresavedontheProcessorUnit
harddisk,oronanexternalstoragedevice.Byaddingaprextothelenamesyou
canidentifythelesyouhaverecordedduringaspecicmissionorsurvey.Youcan
alsodeneamaximumsizeoftheles.
Note
Thedataleswillnormallybecomeverylarge.Ifyouwishtorecordlargeamountsof
SU90data,makesurethatyouhaveenoughspaceonyourharddisk.TheSU90isnot
providedwithunlimiteddiskcapacity.Werecommendthatyousavethedatalestoan
externalstoragedevice.
