TheinputfromaspeedlogisessentialforSU90operation.Withoutspeedinformation,
theSU90willneitherbeabletopresentcorrectnavigationalinformation,nor
compensateforvesselmovements.ThislackofcompensationwillpreventtheSU90
fromprovidingcorrectechoinformation.
TheSensorInstallationpageallowsyourSU90tocommunicatewithexternalsensors
andsystems.Youmustspecifywhichcommunicationporttouse(LAN(LocalArea
Network)orserialport).Youcantypeacustomnametoidentifythesensorimport.In
thelistofvaliddatagramformats,selecttheformat(s)tobeacceptedbytheSU90.

Selectwhattoinstall,denetherelevantparameters,andthenselectAdd.

1ConnectthespeedlogtoanavailablecommunicationportonyourProcessorUnit.

3OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogboxopens.Thisdialogboxcontainsanumber
ofpagesselectedfromthemenuontheleftside.
4OntheleftsideoftheInstallationdialogbox,selectSensorInstallation.
5ForSensorType,selectSpeedLogtoimportinformationfromaglobalpositioning
system.
6Selectwhichportyouwanttoimportthesensorinformationon.
7Ifyouwanttocheckthecommunicationparameters,selectInspectPort.

usetheI/OSetuppage.
