7.14 HOW TO REPLACE pH SENSOR (pH
NEUTRALIZING SYSTEM OPTION)
NOTE: pH Controller must be calibrated after sensor
replacement.
1. Lock unit electrical disconnect switch in OFF
position.
2. Locate and drain neutralizing pump piping.
3. Locate pH sensor, unplug connector and remove.
4. Remove cap on new pH probe, install and plug
connector.
5. Perform calibration (refer to Section 2.5, Thornton
Controller).
7.15 RTD REPLACEMENT
There are four RTDs:
•Sump RTD (Sump RTD) is located in chamber
sump;
• Alkaline tank and/or acid tank RTD is locted on
side of respective tank;
