PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE AND CORRECTION
1. No power, screen is blank. 1. Building electrical supply disconnect switch (circuit breaker) is in
OFF position – position switch to ON.
2. Fuse in power supply failed – call STERIS.*
3. Power supply failed – call STERIS.*
4. Replace display (touch screen) – call STERIS.*
2. Cycle does not start when
START touch pad is pressed.
1. Chamber door(s) open – close and latch door(s)
2. Hot water supply valve closed – open building and washer supply
valves.
3. Faulty door safety switch – call STERIS.*
4. Faulty display (touch screen) – call STERIS.*
3. Doors open once cycle is
started.
1. Exhaust dampered too much – adjust automatic damper.
2. Door latch misadjusted – adjust latch.
4. Too much water entering
chamber. Water overflowing
from drip gutter.
1. Water level malfunctions. Verify operation of water level – clean as
necessary.
2. Fill solenoid valve remains open – call STERIS.*
5. Detergent tank overfilling. 1. Water level malfunctions – verify operation of water level. Clean as
necessary.
2. Fill solenoid valve remains open – call STERIS.*
3. Drain line clogged – flush out line.
4. Return valve misaligned – call STERIS.*
6. Water leaks from washer. 1. Chamber door(s) not fully closed – close and latch door(s).
2. Door gasket worn or defective – call STERIS.*
3. Window gasket worn or defective – call STERIS.*
4. Spray jets misaligned – call STERIS.*
5. Water level malfunctions – call STERIS.*
6. Too much water entering chamber – refer to Problem # 5.
7. Piping leaks – call STERIS.*
8. Exhaust dampered too much – call STERIS.*
9. Building vent connections inadequate – call STERIS.*
