Dimensions of roadways and aisles
The dimensions and aisle widths contained in
section description apply under established
conditions to ensure safe driving. Check,
when necessary, if a wider aisle is required
when the load dimensions differ.
The required aisle widths (
Ast) depend on the
dimensions of the load and m
ay be calculated
following the formula: Ast
= Wa - X + Length of
pallet + 200 mm.

only be used on roadways not
having too ti
ght curves, too large gradients
and too narro
w and too low passages.
Condition o
f roadways
Roadways must be solid enough, free of
debris and dropped objects. Drainage ducts,
railway crossings and the like must be level
and, if necessary, provided with ramps so that
they can be crossed without jolts, if possible.
There must be sufficient clearance between
the highest parts of the truck or load and fixed
parts of the surroundings. The height depends
on the height of lift and the dimensions of the
load. Refer to the technical data.
