Transporting pallets or other contain-
ers
Under normal circumstances, unit loads (e.g.
pallets) should be transported individually.
Simultaneous transport of more than one unit
load is only permitted
• on instruction of the super
visor and
• if the technical requirements are met.
The driver must satisfy himself that the load
is in proper condition. Only properly and
securely positioned loads may be moved.
There are marks on the forks
which make
positioning of the load u
nit on the forks easier.
When the forks are moved u
nder the load unit
exactly as far as the appr
opriate marking (see
arrow), the tips of the fo
rks will not project from
under the load at the fron
t and a wider aisle
width will not be require
d.
Possible markings are:
P for pallets
R for roll containers
