➢ WhenremovingthewastecontainerfromtheObjet260printer,wear
neopreneornitrilegloves.
➢ Topreventliquidwastefromsplashingintotheeyes,wearsafetygoggles.
➢ LiquidwastefromtheObjet260printerisclassifiedashazardousindustrial
waste.Therefore,printing-materialwastemustbepackagedanddisposed
ofinamannerthatpreventshumancontactwithitandcontaminationof
watersources.
➢ EmptyModel-materialandSupport-materialcartridgescontainresidueof
theircontents.Someleakageofthisresiduemayoccurthroughthebroken
cartridgeseal.Therefore,handleandstoreemptycartridgeswithcare.
➢ Donotattempttoreuseemptycartridges,anddonotpuncturethem.
➢ Disposeofusedcartridgesandwastecontainersinaccordancewithlocal
regulations.
➢ Discardcontaminatedclothing,shoes,emptycontainers,etc.,in
accordancewithanyapplicableregulations.
UVLamps
UVlampsusedbytheprintertocureprintingmaterialscontainasmall
amountofmercury,andareconsidered“UniversalWaste.”Recycleordiscard
usedlampsinaccordancewithapplicableregulations.
Brokenlamps:
Afterventilatingthearea,useprotectiveglovesandcarefullyremovespilled
mercurywithamethodthatpreventsthegenerationofmercuryvapor,such
asasyringe,packingtapeorpaper.Placethebrokenlamp,mercuryand
contaminatedmaterialsinanair-tight,non-metalliccontainer.Disposeofthe
containerinaccordancewithapplicableregulations.
