Handling Trays
Afterpreparingmodelsonthebuildtray,youcandothefollowing:
•Testthatitcanbeprinted("validation").
•Calculatethetimeandmaterialresourcesneededtoprintit.
•Sendittotheprinterforproduction.
•Saveitforlatercompletionorprinting.
•Saveitasacompressedfileforconvenientstorageandtransfer.
Tray Validation
Beforesendingajobtotheprinterforproduction,youshouldcheckthatthe
trayis“valid”andcanbeprinted.
Note: Becauseoftheuniquecharacteristicsofeachtypeofmodelingmaterial,
makesurethatthecorrectmaterialisselectedbeforeperformingTrayValidation.
Tovalidatethatthetraycanbeprinted:
OntheTray Settingsribbon,intheBuild Processgroup,click .
or—
FromtheToolsmenu,selectPlacementValidation.
Ifthetrayisnotvalid,thecoloroftheproblematicmodelsonthetray
changesaccordingtoapre-setcode.
