BRAKE ROD REPLACEMENT
Tools Required:
1/2” Combination Wrench•
Procedure:
Note
Unless otherwise indicated, refer to Figure 4.4 B on pg. 62 for the following replacement procedure.
Completely raise the bed.1.
Using a 1/2” combination wrench, remove the nut, shoulder spacer, washer and bolt (E1, E2) holding each end of 2.
the linking rod.
Remove the defective linking rod.3.
Reverse the above steps to install the replacement linking rod.4.
Check the braking mechanism before returning the bed to service.5.
