d. Attach an antistatic wrist strap.

e. Remove the top cover.

2. Remove the memory tray.
See Section 4.2.1, “Removing the Memory Tray” on page 4-11.
3. Identify which CPU to remove.
CPU 0 is closest to the PSU bay. CPU 3 is furthest from the PSU bay.
4. Unscrew the four heatsink screws. (

5. Twist the heatsink slightly to break the seal with grease, and then lift off the
heatsink.
6. Disengage the lever by rotating upward.
7. Remove the CPU.
