Warning Solution
Failed to Connect to Server
If the CDDP-A is unable to connect to the Sunstone server in order to update its soft-
ware and rmware, this alarm will appear. Touch the Dismiss button and then check all
physical connections, software conguration settings on the CDDP-A, and verify the
CDDP-A has access to the Internet. Then try reconnecting to the server again. If you
encounter this problem again, call Sunstone’s customer service team for immediate
assistance.
File Transfer Failed
If you’re transferring a le from a thumb drive to the CDDP-A and the transfer fails this
alarm will appear. Touch on the Dismiss button. Verify the le you wish to transfer is
readable and that the external media (thumb drive) is operating correctly. Try transfer-
ring the le again. Contact Sunstone’s customer service team if the problem persists.
Firmware Update Failed
If the CDDP-A is attempting to update its rmware and that attempt fails, this alarm will
appear. Touch the Dismiss button. Verify the CDDP-A has access to the Internet and
try again. Contact Sunstone’s customer service team if the problem persists.
Firmware Updated
If the CDDP-A successfully updates its rmware this alarm will appear. Touch the Okay
button to return to normal operation.
Firmware Updating
While the CDDP-A is updating its rmware this warning will be displayed with a bar
representing how much of the operation has been completed. When the update is
completed a new warning will appear, “Firmware Updated.” You will not be able to
operate the CDDP-A during this process.
Hardware Issues with Welder
If the Power Supply Unit (PSU) or main circuit board is unable to communicate with the
touchscreen interface (LCD), this alarm will appear. Restart the welder. If the message
persists, contact Sunstone’s customer service team for immediate assistance.
Not Enough Room on the USB
Drive
If you are attempting to export a le from the CDDP-A to a USB drive (or other type
of external media) and the size of the le exceeds the capacity of the USB drive this
warning will appear. Try a larger USB drive or remove other les on the USB drive to
create more room.
Pulse Not Enabled
If you try to enable a comparator for Pulse 1 but Pulse 1 has not been enabled, this
warning will appear. To enable Pulse 1 touch “Enable Pulse 1”. If you don’t wish to en-
able Pulse 1 touch “Okay”.
PSOC Update Failed
If an error occurs while the rmware is being updated this alarm will appear. Contact
Sunstone’s customer service team for immediate assistance.
Roll Spot Enabled
If you’re using the CDDP-A in Roll Spot Mode and try to enable the comparator this
warning will appear. The comparator feature is unavailable in Roll Spot Mode.
