6-61 POWER UNIT
CRANKCASE TO CYLINDER
Clean mating surface of cylinder and crankcase.
Apply SUZUKI BOND to mating surface of crankcase as shown.
B
Apply bond to mating surface only.
Do not allow bond to contact surface of bearing.
CONROD CAP
Apply engine oil to crank pin and conrod bearing.
Install conrod cap (with bearing) to conrod with arrow mark on
cap toward flywheel side.
B
Reassemble each conrod cap to its original position.
Apply engine oil to conrod bolts.
Tighten conrod cap nuts in two steps.
Conrod cap nut :
1st step 18 N
.
m ( 1.8 kg-m, 13.0 lb.-ft.)
2nd step 35 N
.
m ( 3.5 kg-m, 25.3 lb.-ft.)

Apply Bond to marked line
@
Install four (4) dowel pins 1.
