• ECM failure
• Wire continuity/connection failure

NOTE:
This self-diagnostic code indication may be canceled by turning ignition switch ON because ECM detects
battery voltage.
NOTE1:
It is difficult to check rectifier & regulator completely. Before replacing with new one, check if its ground point
has good electrical contact.

Check exhaust manifold temp. sensor
resistance.
Is result OK? (See page 3-35.)
Possible cause :
• ECM failure
• Wire continuity/connection failure
