6-20 POWER UNIT
CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY
(Cylinder head / valve / camshaft)
REMOVAL
Prior to removing cylinder head :
• Remove power unit. (See page 6-5 to 6-8)
• Remove timing chain. (See page 6-14 to 6-15)
1. Remove bolts 1 and oil pump 2.
2. Remove oil relief valve 3 and gasket 4.
5. Loosen eighteen (18) cylinder head bolts according to nu-
merical order in figure and remove them.
6. Remove cylinder head assembly and head gasket.
NOTE:
Use special tool (10 mm deep socket wrench) when loosening
cylinder head bolts.

4. Remove intake and exhaust camshafts.
3. Remove bolts securing camshaft housing 5 to cylinder
head, then remove each camshaft housing.
NOTE:
For ease of assembly, note position of each individual cam-
shaft housing.
