6. During this fixed mode, adjust engine speed to 625 ± 25
r/min (DF140: 700 ± 50 r/min) by turning by-pass air screw.
Turning air screw counterclockwise:
Engine speed will increase.
Turning air screw clockwise:
Engine speed will decrease.
7. When finished adjusting the idle speed, opening the throttle
will cancel the (IAC) fixed mode.
8. Return the throttle to fully close and check engine speed.
It should now be stable at 600 – 650 r/min (DF140: 650 –
750 r/min).
NOTE:
Trolling speed (in- gear) is same as idle speed.
