IMPELLER AND GEAR SHAFT
• Inspect the impeller and gear shaft for damage.
WATER PUMP BEARING
Inspect the inner race play of the water pump bearing while it is
in the water pump housing. Rotate the inner race by hand to
inspect for abnormal noise and smooth rotation. If abnormal
noise occurs or if rough movement is noted, replace the water
pump bearing with a new one.
BEARING REPLACEMENT
• Remove the water pump bearing with the special tool.
$ 09921-20220: Bearing remover set
• Install a new bearing with the special tool.
$ 09913-70210: Bearing installer set
OIL SEAL
Visually inspect the oil seal for damage. If any damages are
found, replace the oil seal with a new one.
• Remove the oil seal.
• Apply THREAD LOCK to the outer surface of the oil seal.
% 99000-32050: THREAD LOCK “1342”
