• Remove the chain buffer.
• Remove the spacers.

INSPECTION
• Inspect the chain buffer for damage and excessive wear.
• Measure the pivot shaft runout with a dial gauge and V-
blocks.
" Swingarm pivot shaft rounout
Service limit: 0.3 mm (0.01 in)
• Inspect the swingarm for cracks and damage.
