Suzuki RM 250 2003 - Inspection; Removal

KICK STARTER 6-3
REMOVAL
• Drain transmission oil. (!2-9)
• Drain the engine coolant. (!2-12)
• Remove the rear brake pedal. (!3-3)
• Remove the kick starter lever.
• Remove the crankcase cover.
• Remove the clutch. (!5-3, 4)
• Remove the kick starter idle gear
1 and washer.
" 09900-06107: Snap ring pliers
• Unhook the kick return spring and remove the kick starter
assembly.
• Remove the kick starter guide

• Disassemble the following parts from the kick starter shaft.

INSPECTION
• Inspect the oil seal for oil leakage and oil seal lip damage.
