Suzuki RM 250 2003 - Cylinder Head; Inspection after Installation

CYLINDER, CYLINDER HEAD AND PISTON 4-9
• Install new O-rings
4 and 5.
• Install the cylinder head.
NOTE:
Apply Bond “1207B” to the stud bolt threads when assembling
the removed stud bolts into the cylinder.

CYLINDER HEAD
• Tighten the cylinder head nuts to the specified torque accord-
ing to the specified tightening order as shown.
$ Cylinder head nut:
Initial:15 N·m (1.5 kgf-m, 11.0 lb-ft)
Final: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.0 lb-ft)
• Tighten the engine mounting bracket bolt. (!3-5)
• Tighten the spark plug. (!2-6)
INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION
• Route the cables and hoses properly. (!19-12 to 14)
• Pour engine coolant. (!2-11)
• Check the throttle cable play. (!2-13)
