FUEL SYSTEM 9-15
REMOVAL AND REMOUNTING
• Remove the carburetor. (!9-10)
• Remove the bolts
1 and remove the throttle position sensor
2 with the special tool.
# 09930-11960: Torx wrench, T20
• Remount the throttle position sensor assembly.
REED VALVE
REMOVAL
• Remove the carburetor. (!9-10)
• Remove the intake pipe and reed valve.
INSPECTION
• Inspect the reeds for damage.
• Inspect the reed valve stoppers for damage.
• Inspect the valve seat rubber for damage.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the removed reed valve ass’y.
REASSEMBLY
Reverse the sequence of removal.
