ENGINE REASSEMBLY
Reassemble
the
engine
in the
reverse order
of
disassembly.
Pay special attention to the following points:
NOTE:
Apply engine oil to each running and sliding part before
reas-
sembling.
TRANSMISSION OUTPUT SHAFT
•
Hold the transmission output shaft using the special tool and
tighten
the
transmission output shaft
nut to the
specified
torque.

output
shaft nut:
100 N m (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5
Ib-ft)
•
Bend
the collar
of
the shaft nut into the notch
of
the output
shaft.
WATER
PUMP
DRIVEN GEAR
•
When
installing the water pump driven gear,
and
align
the
pin
©
with
the groove (2).
•
Install the
circlip.
