Slowly turn the special tool handle
to
tighten and align the
flats
®
at the movable driven face end
with
the spring plate
Tighten the movable driven face nut temporarily.
Remove
the
special tool from
the
movable driven face
assembly.
•
Hold
the
movable driven face assembly using
the
special
tool
and vise, and tighten the movable driven face nut to the
specified torque using the special
tool.

INSPECTION
Check that the drive belt is free from any greasy substance.
Inspect the contact surface
of
the drive belt for cracks or dam-
age and measure the width
of
the drive belt using the vernier
calipers.
If
any
damages
are
found
or
the measurement exceeds
the
service
limit,
replace the drive belt
with
a
new one.
