OIL SEALS
Damage to the lip of the oil seal may result in leakage of the air/
fuel mixture or engine oil. Inspect the oil seal for wear or dam-
age. If any damages are found, replace the oil seal with a new
one.
• Install the oil seals into the crankcase, clutch housing case,
and generator rotor cover. Pay attention to the following
points:
ACAUTIOINT
Replace the removed oil seals with new ones.
• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" to the lip of the oil
JSI* 99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
For the other countries
^199000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
COUNTERSHAFT OIL SEAL
• Remove the countershaft oil seal from the right crankcase
using the special tool.
IT55L1 09913-50121: Oil seal remover
A CAUTION
Replace the removed oil seal with a new one.
• Install the countershaft oil seal into the right crankcase,
slowly, using the special tool.
