BEARINGS
Wash
the bearing with
a
cleaning solvent and lubricate it with
motor oil before inspection. Rotate the inner race and check to
see that
it
turns smoothly.
If it
does
not
turn quietly
and
smoothly,
or
if there are signs
of
any abnormalities, the bearing
is
defective and must be replaced with
a
new one as follows.
COUNTERSHAFT
BEARINGS
•
Remove
the
right
and
left countershaft bearings using
the
special tools.

09930-30102: Sliding hammer
ACAUTIQINT
Replace
the removed bearings
with
new ones.
•
Install the right and left countershaft bearings using the spe-
cial
tool.

Bearing installer set

•
Remove
the right driveshaft bearing using the special tool,

Bearing remover set
ACAUTIOINr
Replace
the removed bearing
with
a new one.

Install the right driveshaft bearing using the special tool.
