Tighten the two 8-mm crankcase bolts

first,
and then the
6-mm bolts to the specified torque.

NOTE:
Install
the new
gasket onto
the
crankcase bolt®
as
shown.

After the crankcase bolts
have
been
tightened, check
if
the
crankshaft, countershaft, driveshaft, transmission output
shaft,
rear final driven shaft,
and
secondary
driven output
shaft rotate smoothly.
If
a
large resistance is
felt
to rotation,
try
to free the shafts by tapping them
with
a
plastic
hammer.
GEARSHIFT
CAM
STOPPER BOLT
Tighten the gearshift cam stopper bolts to the specified torque.
