•
Remove
the boot
band
of
the differential side joint (double
offset
joint).
•
Slide the boot toward the center
of
the front drive shaft and
remove the
snap
ring from the outer race.
•
Separate the outer race from the front drive shaft.
•
Wipe
off any grease and remove the
circlip
from the cage
on
the
front drive shaft.
•
Remove
the cage and boot from the front drive shaft.
ACAUTIOINT
Do not
disassemble
the wheel side joint (double offset
joint). If any damage is found, replace the wheel side
joint
with
a new one.
