FINAL ASSEMBLY
After adjusting the backlash, tooth contact and clearance be-
tween the final drive and driven gears, remove them from the
final bevel gear case.
• Clean off any machinist's dye or paste from the gear teeth,
and lubricate the teeth with Hypoid gear oil.
• Install new O-rings to the final gear right case and stopper.
• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" to the O-rings.

Jffn 99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
For the other countries
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
• Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER "1303" or "1322" to the bearing
case bolt and tighten them to the specified torque.
For USA
t@99000-32030:THREAD LOCK SUPER "1303"
For the other countries
^fiH 99000-32110: THREAD LOCK SUPER "1322"
H Bearing case bolt: 23 N m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 Ib-ft)

• Tighten the final gear stopper to the specified torque using the
special tool.

H Final gear stopper: 110 N-m (11.0 kgf-m, 79.5 Ib-ft)

• Tighten the bearing stopper pin securely.
• Tighten the final drive gear nut to the specified torque using
the special tool.
