3 Check continuity between terminal “E12-8” of
disconnected harness side TCM coupler and
ground.
Is continuity indicated?
“Y/B” wire shorted to
ground.
Go to Step 4.
4 1) Connect TCM couplers.
2) Turn ignition switch ON.
3) Measure voltage between terminal “E12-8”
of connected harness side TCM coupler
and ground.
Is it 10 – 14 V?
Intermittent trouble or
faulty ECM.
Check for intermittent
referring to “INTERMIT-
TENT AND POOR CON-
NECTION” in Section 0A.
If no trouble found, substi-
tute a known-good ECM
and recheck.
Faulty TCM.
Substitute a known-good
TCM and recheck.
