Vertical Commands
Table D--3 lists the commands available from the Vertical menu.

Submenu Command Function
Vertical Setup Opens the Vertical Setup control window, used to set the vertical parameters for
live (channel) waveforms. The controls for each channel are independent. Use
the tabs at the top of the control window to select the channel you want to
change.
Zoom Controls Opens the Zoom control window, used to set the position and scale of zoom ed
waveforms.
Display On/Off Opens the Waveform Display control window, used to turn the display of
waveforms on and off.
Position/Scale Opens the Position/Scale control window, used to posit ion the waveform and set
the vertical scale.
Label Opens the Waveform Label control window, used to attach a label to the
waveform.
Offset Opens the Vertical Offset control window, used to set the vertical offset and
scale of a waveform.
Termination Opens the Termination cont rol window, used to select input termination for a
channel.
Invert Opens the Channel Invert control window, used to invert a live channel
waveform.
Coupling Opens the Coupling control window, used to select input coupling for a channel.
Bandwidth Opens the Bandwidth control window, used to set the bandwidth of a channel.
Probe Cal Opens the Probe Cal control window, used to check probe status and
compensate the entire signal path from the probe tip to digitized signal.
Deskew Opens the Deskew control window, used to compensate for propagation delays
of input channels. The deskew range is ±75 ns.
Attenuation Opens the Attenuation control wi ndow, used to set the external attenuation or
gain between the signal and t he input channels.
Zoom Setup Opens the Zoom Setup control window, used to set up the horizontal and
vertical zoom controls.
