HOT TIP
•
When fully wired, this cable has 4 twisted pairs wired “straight through” just like the
cables often used for Ethernet 10Base- T. The wiring configuration is the same as
TIA 568A (TIA- 568B is electrically equivalent, and can also be used).

Both ends are wired identically.

The outside pairs are generally not required and may be omitted.
The ISDN S interface on the Telos TWO does not provide power. Usually the Telecom
company will arrange for power to the NT1 (NTBA).
2.5.2 Integration with a PBX using ISDN
The TWOx12 has been used satisfactorily using BRI off the following PBX Switches used
in USA and Canada:
Nortel Meridian 2 wire (U interface) [User report]
