What to do if Telos Telephone says Ready but calls do not complete?

  If your Telos Telephone system says 'Ready' but calls don't complete, and either returns to 'Ready' or remains 'Waiting', it might be due to the ISDN lines being set up as Centrex service. Try dialing with a 9, 8, 7, or 6 before the number. If local calls work, but long-distance calls don’t go through, the TWOx12 usually displays 'Far end disconnect', or 'No route available' as the ISDN 'Cause' phrase.

How to fix Telos Telephone when it can't get ISDN Ready indication?

  If your Telos Telephone can't get an ISDN 'Ready' indication, it may be because the telephone company has not provided you with the ISDN protocol when the line was ordered. First, try disconnecting the ISDN circuit(s) in question and waiting a full 60 seconds (leave the TWOx12 on) and then reconnect the circuit(s).

  If you cannot upgrade the Telos Telephone software via electronic download, you should contact Technical Support to request a flash SIMM be shipped with the desired software.
