Calculating the Average Fall
Calculate the Average Fall (AF) in both the North/South
direction (sides A and C) and in the East/West direction (sides
D and B).
Use this equation: , where AE is
average elevation and AF is average fall.
Using the example numbers from Figure 4-6, the equations
