NOTICE
Record elevations only when crossing the field,
not when turning at its border.
Recording elevations while turning will skew the
results of your survey.
When crossing the field, maintaining a consistent speed from one
side to the next will give you a uniform and accurate survey. Use the
survey method you are most comfortable with, or follow the steps
below:
1. Enter the desired field slope, or the calculated slope, into the
laser transmitter. This slope determines the slope of the field
when finished land-leveling.
2. With the Control Box in Survey mode, press and hold the
ELEV/AVG button for three seconds to clear any previous
readings.
3. Begin driving the field in a serpentine pattern with the scraper
just “floating” on the ground, maintaining a constant speed.
