2.5 Paper Exit Section and Reverse Section
2.5.1 Overview
Paper exiting is an operation to enable the exit of sheets of paper transported from the image forming
section to the outside of an MFP. The paper exit section performs this operation and thus consists of
rollers and guides for exiting paper.
On the other hand, when copying is performed on both sides of the paper, reversing it from the front
side to the back side is required. The reverse section is the unit which consists of the rollers and guides
for reversing the paper transported from the image forming section. Depending on the models, both
these functions have an embedded integrated section.
