5.1.2 Explanation
The explanation of each backup method is as below.

Explanation Information about Address Book, MailBoxes and department codes
can be exported.
The following items can be made to the exported information.
• Importing to other MFPs
• Editing information

Major use purpose • When performing the setup of an MFP at the time of replacement
• When performing the setup of more than one MFP
• When a user edits the data in Address Book
Remarks Rebooting of the MFP is unnecessary after exporting and importing.
Explanation The MFP setting data and user data as a clone file can be stored into
a USB storage device and a client PC.
The clone file created by another MFP can be installed in this one,
resulting in the making of the same conditions.

Remarks • Only the self-diagnostic codes which are applicable can be
