5.3 Printer Drivers
The following are the major types of printer drivers which can be used for the MFP. Select the
appropriate printer driver according to the purpose of use.
• Windows
PostScript, XPS, Universal (PCL, PS) *
•Mac
•Linux
* If printing has failed under the Windows environment, it is recommended to switch the type of the
printer driver.
Remarks:
• Some printer drivers are used for several models in common. Furthermore, they have a mobile print
function.
• GDI (Graphic Device Interface) is also available for some models.
• Printer drivers can be installed with the co-packed DVD. If there is no DVD, one can be installed by
accessing the MFP, TopAccess or the site..
