2.3.2 Color process
[ 1 ] Color expression
The three primary colors for printing are yellow (Y), magenta (M) and cyan (C). Various colors can be
expressed by overlaying these three colors. Red can be generated by overlaying yellow and magenta.
Blue can be generated by overlaying magenta and cyan. Green can be generated by overlaying cyan
and yellow. Black can be generated by overlaying yellow, magenta and cyan. An MFP reproduces
colors by adding the black toner (K) to the above 3 color toners. The symbols Y, M, C and K are used to
express the color of each color toner.
