3.5 Firmware updating
The version of the firmware installed in the MFP is subject to regular updating so that further
improvements can be applied. It is strongly recommended to keep updating the version of the firmware
in order to maintain the performance of the MFP, extend its capabilities and eliminate any defects.
3.5.1 Method
Updating can be performed by inserting a USB storage device with the firmware stored into the MFP
and implementing it by means of the self-diagnostic mode. Other methods are also prepared. The table
below shows the method in a simple manner.
