5.5 Scanning Function
Scanning is a function to convert the scanned images to data. As a storage destination of converted
data, a USB storage device, local folders and e-Filing in the MFP and shared folders on the network
can be specified. Moreover, they can be sent by attaching them to an e-mail.
An access right is required depending on the storage destinations. For details on how to set, refer to the
Scanning Guide and the MFP Management Guide.
When user authentication is carried out, the functions which can be used may be limited.
