2.3 Image Forming Section
2.3.1 Basic process
During the exposure process, images are written on the photoconductive drum in which a charge has
been evenly applied to the entire surface. The toner in the developer unit adheres to the written areas
and then development is carried out. After that, the toner on the photoconductive drum is transferred
onto the paper by applying a charge opposite to the toner.
