Explanation SRAM data can be backed up into a USB storage device and
restored into the MFP.

Major use purpose When replacing the SRAM
Remarks • This operation is available only to the same MFP (same serial
number).
• Only the self-diagnostic codes stored in the SRAM can be
performed cloning with this menu.
• Rebooting of the MFP is necessary after cloning.
Explanation The MFP setting data and user data can be stored into a USB
storage device. This operation is available only to the same MFP
(same serial number).

User (TopAccess, touch panel display)

Client PC (shared folder): User only
Application to other MFPs Not possible
Major use purpose • When replacing the HDD
• When recovering the user data if the HDD has been broken
Remarks
• The version of the firmware at the time of backup and restoration
should be the same.
• This operation is available only to the same MFP (same serial
number).
• Backup can be performed periodically.
• Licenses can also be backed up with this method.
