5. Clean the lightbox cover (Figure 7-2) with back and forth movements using the cleaning
swabs or wipes provided with the printer. The cleaning kit will contain Videojet approved
pre-soaked cleaning wipes or swabs.
Note: Allow one minute for the excess fluid to evaporate. Failure to allow this interval can result in
damage to the lightbox by thermal shock.
6. Replace the cassette and lock it in place.
7. Turn the power switch on the CLARiTY controller to the I (On) position.
The printhead cleaning is complete.
