Make sure that the connectors are properly fitted for
your installation. Check the table.
Check adjacent figures which describe cable con-
nected for right-hand rotation. For left hand rotation,
just switch the connectors on the gear shift sole-
noids.
IMPORTANT! Apply low temperature grease,
Volvo Penta part no. 1161417-9 in the solenoid
connectors prior to connection.

The solenoid connectors shall be set up for right-
hand rotation in forward gear as standard. The cable
kit connectors are marked A and B and the solenoid
valves are marked A for primary valve and B for sec-
ondary valve.
NOTE! The standard fitting gives A to valve A and B
to valve B
